Fingerprint sensor will go under the screen

One of the trends in the smartphone market, especially in the premium segment, is to ensure that the screen occupies the entire front of the device. Now this represents a challenge for manufacturers as it is necessary to find a new location for the home button, and consequently for the fingerprint sensor. Even this has been a subject of much speculation recently. For example, about the launch of the next iPhone 8, in which much has been said about the possibility of the sensor passing to the back of the equipment, which has not been confirmed. But while brands like Apple and Samsung have been trying to be the first to launch the fingerprint sensor under the screen, the Chinese Vivo, together with Qualcomm, has already anticipated and just announced this technology. According to the brand, this sensor can now be placed under the screen or even in aluminum, remaining completely invisible; although it is not yet known whether it will be possible to unlock the phone from any area of the screen, or if it will be limited to a specific zone.
