We tested the new iOS 15.4 on the iPhone... and FaceID with mask!

As promised, Apple recently announced the new iOS 15 update. The iOS 15.4 system promises new emojis, Universal Control... and an improved Face ID for those who wear a mask.

Apple's first event of 2022 on March 8th brought a host of new equipment and a new processor. Among the novelties, the Cupertino technology company also announced the update of the operating system. The new iOS 15.4 promises improvements to Face ID, a gender-neutral Siri, among other news.

The big news is the Face ID compatible with mask. The post-pandemic world still hasn't rid us of the masks, and it's undeniable how unpleasant it can be, in certain situations, not being able to comfortably Face ID. With iOS 15.4, it becomes possible to access the phone using Face ID, even with the mask on. However, this update is only available for iPhone 12 and later. After the quick setup, it is confirmed that the screen unlocks quickly, presenting the face from any angle, practically as if the mask was not on.
