What is the future of smartphone ports?

What is the future of smartphone ports?

The evolution of mobile phones may go through devices without any ports.

The ports are without a doubt the entry of computers and mobile phones to other devices that take the user experience to a new level. However, cables have become a nuisance for many users, and manufacturers have responded with more comfortable alternatives.

The first big change came with the sound port. The headphone jack began to disappear in 2016, namely with the iPhone 7. A controversial decision at the time, but which everyone has gotten used to; such that other manufacturers followed suit.

The next changes may be related to charging ports. Although fast charging has been gaining supporters, most brands have been implementing induction charging on their devices, recharging wirelessly. In fact, the market has been receiving more and more models of powerbanks that carry the same technology. You can find wireless powerbanks in our Online Store.

Many experts have been feeding rumors that smartphones in the future, especially iPhones, may no longer have a charging port.

However, for now, inductive charging does not yet support fast charging; which, for many, can be a disadvantage, when they can charge their equipment in much less time using a cable and charger.
