We are getting closer and closer to the Portuguese

iServices is committed not only to its presence at events such as NOS Alive or the Web Summit, but also to supporting sports teams nationwide. Today we present the F5 Padel Team of the Arrábida Padel de Azeitão Club. Fernanda Barbeiro, from the Financial Department at iServices, is a member of the team, and she tells us a little about the sports group.

The team is made up of 12 athletes aged between 30 and 65, united by their passion for Padel. “Since Padel is a fun sport with a strong social component, played in pairs, easy to learn and accessible to practically the entire population, often played with the family, it is difficult not to become “addicted””, Fernanda tells us. It was the attentive look of the coach who, noticing the assiduity of the athletes, invited them to form a team.

The team's effort and dedication took them far. Last year, in the Clube Liga Tournament of the Portuguese Padel Federation, the Arrábida Padel club won in the regional competition and reached the semi-finals at national level, “providing a great incentive for us to participate again this year”, adds Fernanda . The team is preparing to participate again this year in the Federation Club League Tournament, which will run until December 2023.

Throughout the competitions, iServices has been supporting the team with its presence in multiple competitions. Fernanda tells us that the iServices sponsorship was very important for the club.
