Samsung Galaxy Fold and Flip and Watch will have new features

The software upgrade will bring functionality from the latest equipment to the older Fold, Flip and Watch.

Samsung promises to bring new features to all Galaxy Flip, Fold and Watch users. In question is a software update that will soon be available for older versions of the equipment.

The brand made available last Monday the updates for the Galaxy Fold and Flip of all previous generations. Also updates on smartwatches will be extended to a variety of devices: Galaxy Watch4, Watch4 Classic, Watch3 and Watch Active 2. Updates are being rolled out on a global scale progressively.

For the Galaxy Fold, for example, the Taskbar will be available, which places a set of applications at the bottom of the screen, giving an experience similar to that of a PC. Another feature is multitasking from the Taskbar, allowing drag and drop to assign an app to half of the open screen; or even create predefined application pairs to access productivity modes more quickly. When using the camera with the Fold open, the outer screen can now function as a photo preview, allowing you to take selfies with the main sensors.

In Galaxy Flip, it will be possible to do more with the external screen: see photo previews when using the cameras, make calls, respond to messages by voice command or access some settings.

For the Galaxy Watch, the keyword is customization: new watch faces with more colors and more interactive and a new QWERTY keyboard. Starting in late September, the Galaxy Watch3 and Watch Active2 will receive new features such as the Samsung Health Monitor, blood pressure monitor and electrocardiogram.
