A new Apple patent points to the development of a body recognition technology. A Body ID, which may undergo a full body scan for security purposes or even health assessment.
According to the patent, released by TechGoing, the technology is described as:
“Create a body image by reading the body from head to toe. The entire body can be photographed in one image, or multiple photographs of multiple parts of the face, neck, waist, legs, etc. Body image data can include front body views and side body views. In addition, image data may also include video taken while the subject is breathing and/or moving.”
