Apple confirms production of Apple Car

According to The Guardian, Apple has just confirmed that it is actually working on the production of a self-driving car, the Apple Car.

This confirmation came in the form of a letter, sent by Steve Kenner, Apple product director to the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration): ?The company is investing heavily in the study of machine learning and automation, and is excited about the potential of automated systems in many areas, including transportation,? Although the letter does not offer more details about the vehicle or its characteristics, it describes an essential product for society that promises to save thousands of lives every year. This is dated November 22 and in addition to confirming Apple's intention to build the Apple Car, it also confirms that it may be more interested in designing a private label product than making the technology available to third parties. Therefore, we may not have to wait long for the next innovative product from the American brand, which it needs so much. Let's remember that despite the pre-order numbers of the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have sold out immediately, the products do not bring great innovations compared to previous models.
