Will we have a cheaper version of the iPhone X?

The iPhone X hits the market on the 3rd of November, and rumours circulating in China suggest that Apple will already be working on a cheaper version of the iPhone X, to launch in 2018.
These rumors point to the possibility of there being 2 new versions, in which the price will be a decisive factor. It is also said that at the origin of the price drop will be the withdrawal of some features of the iPhone X, it is just not yet known for sure what they will be.
According to information circulating in China, the names of these prototypes already exist: Lisbon and Hangzhou (the cheapest version).
For now, these are just rumours, and the brand has not commented on this issue, but this could be Apple's response to the criticism that has existed about the launch price of the iPhone X, a factor that could be decisive in consumers' purchase decision.
