Samsung S7 vs iPhone 8: Which is better?

The data released by Consumer Reports, an American site specializing in evaluations and comparisons of technological equipment, give us the answer to this question. And according to the study carried out, the Samsung Galaxy S7 outperforms the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
According to the Consumer Reports ranking at the top of the list of the best smartphones are the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, with 81 points (out of 100), followed by the iPhone 8 and the Samsung Galaxy S7, both with 80 points.
Despite the overall score being similar, Consumer Reports' recommendation falls on the Samsung S7 instead of the iPhone 8, and points out 2 reasons for its decision: better sound quality in calls and better battery life.
As this is a highly rated publication by consumers in the US, it is likely that this news will not help sales of the iPhone 8, which so far has been below expectations.
Apple must now focus on the launch of the iPhone X that hits the market on November 3rd.
