This is a function loved by iPhone users.
iOS 17 has been coined as an update focused on stability and performance. However, an anonymous source quoted by the MacRumours website points to a significant change in the Control Center. The same source does not specify what news we can expect from this feature panel.
The news about the new iOS 17 should be revealed at the next WWDC 2023, to be held on June 5, with the first beta version of the operating system to be made available on the same day.
The Control Center was first introduced in 2013 with iOS 7. It is a panel with a set of useful shortcuts for the iPhone user, highly customizable. Among the various shortcuts it is possible to adjust the sound volume, screen brightness, record the screen, turn on the flashlight or access connectivity settings. This panel started to be available by swiping up in the lower right corner of the screen, however, with the introduction of the iPhone X, the shortcut started to be activated by swiping down from the upper right corner. To customize your iPhone's Control Center shortcuts, go to Settings > Control Center.
Other possible innovations in iOS 17 mentioned by the same site include an improvement in the Search tool, the expansion of the Dynamic Island for all iPhone 15 models, or even an expansion in the accessibility settings, allowing a change in the Lock Screen and Home Screen.
