The information has not yet been confirmed by the brand, but there are two smartphones that will potentially receive the new and powerful photo sensor.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, quoted by Techgoing, Motorola may not be the only one to bet on a mobile phone with a 20MP camera. The same source, despite not revealing the brand behind Motorola's competition, claims that the device in question may have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5000 mAh battery.
In terms of equipment, the new 200MP sensor is expected to be deployed either in the Xiaomi 12T Pro, or in the Redmi K50S Pro.
Motorola was in fact the first manufacturer to adopt a 200 MP photo sensor in a smartphone, despite the component being manufactured by Samsung; which recently announced its image quality in an interesting marketing campaign, to say the least.
