Apple faces issues with iPhone 14 component quality

The setback should not compromise the deadlines for the launch of the new smartphone.

Apple has been experiencing a series of quality problems with some components of the next iPhone, namely panels for the screens, RAM and more recently lenses for the cameras. The information is revealed by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The same analyst claims that the problems with the lenses are related to the anti-breakage protection, leading to the return of 10 million lenses back to the supplier.

The problems inherent in the new iPhone are not new. Last June, the Nikkei Asia report reported delays in the production of the iPhone 14, due to weak production caused by successive confinements in China.

The iPhone 14 will be released as early as next month, if there are no more delays and mishaps with the components. An alignment of 4 models is expected, of which there is no Mini model. Another rumor concerns the notch, which, for premium models, should be reduced to the screen and headphone holes.
