iOS 11 should be available today

You can finally update the operating system of your Apple smartphone or tablet to iOS 11 and experience the new features it has to offer.

The changes of the new operating system will be more felt on iPads than on iPhones, but let's see case by case.

On the iPad, there is a new Dock, which is now available from any screen, just by swiping your finger to open and switch apps in an instant. It can also be customized with the most used apps and will allow better multitasking by activating Split View or Slide Over modes. The ?drag and drop? now also arrives on the iPad.

But in summary, the new iOS 11 is an operating system that features a more functional Control Center, is already prepared for Augmented Reality technology, comes with a more ?intelligent? Siri, and improvements in terms of the camera experience.

The update is scheduled to be released today in Portugal, it is thought that around 6 pm taking into account Apple's release history.

Typically, a notification appears on the device informing you that a new Operating System update is available (but it will not be compatible with all devices, depending on their age).

Our advice is to wait a few days before updating, so that any bugs can be reported and resolved by Apple, before installing the new system.
