iPhone 13: new colors, new cameras, new processor!

September is the usual month for launching new tops range of the Californian company. And so, the iPhone 13 was unveiled this afternoon at Apple's traditional mega-event. At iServices we are always attentive and that's why we leave you the main features of this new version.
The iPhone 12, launched last year, presented significant new features, but in this launch the differences are not as evident as we expected. The design remains inspired by the iPhone 5, with flatter sides, and features four distinct dimensions: the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Two cameras, diagonally and more sophisticated
Cameras are one of the more differentiating elements between the different versions and models of the iPhone. In this version, all models bring cameras with the LiDAR spatial sensor, used mainly in augmented reality and in depth detection in the environment. Also the new ultra-wide lens now has better image quality in low light environments, which is always welcome for photographs taken at night. The less expensive options continue with the 12-megapixel dual camera. The brand has introduced improvements and the sensor now has a greater capacity to expand light capture by up to 47%.
On the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the cameras take up more space on the back of the device. In this version there are also additional features for videos in 'portrait mode' (which until now were only available for photographs) and a new file format, particularly aimed at image editors - ProRes . The lens thickness is also slightly larger on this new model. In common, the four models have the 'cinematic mode'. The feature is capable of recording videos of people, animals and objects with automatic focus change "so that anyone becomes a filmmaker and can capture true cinematic moments" says Tim Cook. Night mode is also included in all cameras on the various iPhones.
Bigger and more powerful batteries
Batteries have been slightly increased in size to ensure an increasing independence with regard to energy needs. According to Apple, energy consumption has been reduced by 15% to 20% in this version of the iPhone, thanks to the new processor and batteries that are now slightly larger. The daily battery capacity should be around 1h30 to 2h30 longer compared to previous generation iPhones.
A15 Bionic processor and up to 1 TB of space
All iPhone 13 models come with 5G connectivity and a brand new Apple A15 Bionic processor, made up of six cores. According to Apple, the component has the 50% fastest CPU and 30% fastest GPU of all smartphones available on the market. The new chip is also capable of handling 15.8 billion operations per second.
Smaller notch and an excellent display for gamers
The iPhone 13 screen update has reduced the size the notch (the screen clipping) by about 23%! Excellent resolution for gamers to enjoy a more fluid and comfortable browsing experience? until now, only the iPad Pro had this technology. The OLED panels used by Apple now have the ability to change the refresh rate, which ranges from 30hz to 120hz.
1TB Storage
All iPhones now have 128GB of minimum memory storage, up from the existing 64GB in previous versions. In addition, the Pro and Pro Max models of the upcoming iPhone 13 can have up to 1 TB of memory, thus doubling the current maximum capacity of 512 GB.
