Oops…Face ID failed the first time it was tested

Yesterday the new iPhones were presented, among them the iPhone X, which has given a lot to talk about.

One of the great innovations in the iPhone X is Face ID, which yesterday provided the most embarrassing moment of the event?

When Craig Federigh, who was on stage conducting the presentation, tried to unlock the iPhone X using Face ID to demonstrate this new feature, the software did not recognize him, and he even had to use another device, which he unlocked with a password to proceed with the demo.

We know that sometimes technology doesn't work exactly the way we want it to, but when you're talking about a company like Apple, especially at a time when they're trying to explain a new technology and how innovative it is, it's good to see how it works.

After this episode, there have been some doubts about the operation of Face ID, and especially considering the advertised price, the user will want to have everything working perfectly.

But we believe that this was a unique failure, and of the event's organization, which will not be repeated when the equipment is launched. It's Apple, after all.
