Charging is extremely fast, with the promise of reaching 80% charge in just 30 minutes.

With the introduction of Apple Intelligence, it becomes possible to reduce background noise during calls, produce detailed health reports, and detect situations such as sleep apnea and ovulation periods, among others. If you do swimming or other water sports, you get indicators about water temperature, depth, and even a tide tracker.

Now it is the turn of the update of the Apple Watch Ultra. This will be the most robust and functional smartwatch in the line. For example, it will have the most accurate GPS, a more precise compass, and various functions for diving.

This is an update of the model released last year, but which nevertheless will have new finishes, a new color (black titanium), and slight changes in the straps that increase the durability of the device. The release date of this Apple Watch is September 20.

The new AirPods 4

Speaking of Apple's new earbuds, we have confirmation of the rumors: there will be two versions of the AirPods 4, one of which has noise cancellation and the other does not.

The AirPods case can now be charged wirelessly, but you need a charger that is compatible with Apple devices. However, the fastest way to charge is still via the USB-C cable. Battery life has been extended and now offers approximately 30 hours of autonomy.

New hearing health features were also presented. To begin with, there is hearing protection: with the new processor, which is able to actively listen to the environment. In this way, the AirPods can adapt to protect you from harmful noises.

Another health feature is that the AirPods Pro, when used together with the iPhone, perform a hearing test. However, it is not known whether these new features will be available in all markets.

It is important to note that Siri responds more to gestures, indicating greater interaction.

The news about the iPhone 16 starts with the colors: black, white, pink, ultramarine, and teal. Regarding the screen, the iPhone 16 has 6.1 inches and the Plus model retains its 6.7 inches. Furthermore, it is promised that the screen is up to 50% stronger compared to the previous model, thanks to the Ceramic Shield.

After discussing the appearance, Apple is now focusing on the inside of the device. To start with, there is the new processor - the A18, designed to "run large language models".

It was also explained that this new processor was developed with the goal of providing higher energy efficiency, and is 30% faster than its predecessor.

Artificial intelligence on the iPhone 16

AI will be the highlight of this new iPhone. For example, you can automatically create an invitation for a party with the phone, which you can then share via a message. You can also set the tone of the writing, choose images, and create emojis.

Apple Intelligence will help you find videos in the gallery and create short summaries of the subjects in your emails when you need to look something up.

Siri is getting smarter! Siri will, for example, be able to overcome your hesitation in the requests you make. Another example is that if you receive a message from a friend asking if you have already heard the new album by a certain artist, Siri will analyze the text and automatically play the song.

It is important to note that Apple Intelligence will be a free software update, which for now will only be available in English. The beta version will be available starting next month.

In 2025, it will be available in more countries and languages, such as Spanish.

The side button to take photos

One of the big novelties on the iPhone will be the "Camera Control" button. In addition to the function to open the camera, you can also control matters related to searching and recognizing images of a document.

To access this function, a simple press of the button is sufficient to activate the camera for taking a photo. With two presses, you switch to video. From that point, and with light taps in between, you can control the exposure and many other details.

The main camera of the iPhone 16 has a 48 MP sensor and a 12 MP telephoto lens with two times zoom.

For the first time, these devices will capture "spatial" videos and images, specifically designed for the Apple Vision Pro, the company's virtual reality device.

The camera of the Pro versions promises to capture more details in the images. The big novelty, however, is that the side button Camera Control can determine which camera you want to use. According to Della Huff, the person responsible for cameras and images on the iPhone, the Pro models will have a Fusion camera and an Ultra-wide camera, both of 48 MP.
