The numbers shared by StockApps show that, in the fourth quarter of 2022, the Android operating system gained market share. At stake is the success of the new iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, which catapulted Apple's operating system.
Even so, iOS remains below the 30% line, in a market occupied mostly by Android, with a slice of more than 70%. However, Google's operating system has been losing its share slightly in the last two quarters.
According to Edith Reads, an analyst at StockApps, he also points out that the growth of iOS is due to Apple's focus "on the consumer experience, innovative designs and quality products". On the other hand, the fall of the Android system has been noted with its loss of importance in markets such as China (currently led by Huawei and Apple), due to the lack of innovation and fragmentation.
