Apple is preparing to launch its new iPhone 17 line in mid-September 2025, and promises several new features not only in terms of features, but also in performance and design.
As in previous years, the iPhone 17 is expected to be released in September 2025, where three more versions will also be introduced and released. We're talking about the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and also the new iPhone 17 Slim or iPhone 17 Air, Apple's thinnest smartphone.
All iPhone 17 models are expected to feature the all-new LTPO OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a fluid viewing experience for any type of content and efficient energy use. As for sizes, we can count on the following sizes:
In terms of performance, you can count on the A19 chip in the basic and Air models, while the Pro and Pro Max models should have the A19 Pro for significant improvements in terms of power and efficiency.
As we've already mentioned, this new line of Apple smartphones will have four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air or iPhone 17 Plus, iPhone 17 Pro and also the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The world's eyes should be fixed on the iPhone 17 Air, which is called the thinnest iPhone ever, measuring just 5.5mm thick. All this thanks to the adoption of OLED screens that have TDDI technology that also includes the touch controller and the screen driver in one layer. The Pro and Pro Max models should have a new rear camera module that stands out for its horizontal format, inspired by the design we can find in the Google Pixel.
Rumors say that the Pro and Pro Max models will be equipped with three 48 MP cameras (wide, ultra-wide and telephoto) and will also have the possibility of recording video in 8K. In turn, the iPhone 17 Plus will have only a single rear camera with 48 MP, while the iPhone 17 will have a dual camera. Also noteworthy is that the Pro models come with Apple's new Wi-Fi 7 chip, which provides faster and more stable internet speeds.
There are rumors that there is a new technology that prevents overheating in the iPhone 17, which ensures longer battery life. Nothing is known about the mAh capacities. As for charging, we should expect speeds of up to 35W wired.
