Meet the new Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro, Watch and Tablet

The new range of Google equipment brought some news. However, there is no release date for Portugal.

Google last week launched the new Pixel 7 and Pixel Pro smartphones. With them were also revealed the brand's first smartwatch, the Pixel Watch, and the Pixel Tablet, previously announced at Google I/O in May.

The Pixel 7 Pro doesn't show big differences when compared to the top of the range from the previous year. It features a 50MP wide main sensor, a 12MP ultra wide camera, and a 48MP telephoto lens. In terms of screen, it has a 6.71-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate from 10 to 120Hz, with Gorilla Glass. In terms of processing, it has the new Tensor G2 unit, which promises 60% faster and 20% more efficient processing.

The Pixel 7, 6.3 inches and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, has a high battery saving technology, with a promise of autonomy of up to 72 hours! In terms of cameras, this model has a module similar to the Pixel 7 Pro, not only containing the telephoto sensor.

Another novelty launched was the Pixel Watch, Google's first market bet on smartwatches, taking advantage of the purchase of the Fitbit company. The watch is available in LTE and Wi-Fi version, but only in 41mm size. The watch has a 1.2-inch screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and a mounting mechanism with the straps similar to a lens on a camera. The equipment has biometric tracking algorithms, and a battery with a promise of 24-hour autonomy.

Finally, the Pixel Tablet has been officially announced. Its launch is scheduled for 2023, and Google has given more details about the product. One of the big news is in the charging support, which also works as a speaker, transforming the tablet into a smart screen, since it will be connected to Google Assistant and allow access to smart home equipment. Further details about this tablet are expected in the future.
