The Samsung Unpacked 2022 event is the annual event of the Korean brand that makes its news known!

The Samsung Unpacked 2022 took place last Wednesday, the 10th, live to the whole world. This is the brand's big event where new devices are announced, namely smartphones, smartwatches and much more!

Galaxy Z Flip4

The fourth generation of foldables was the great protagonist. Starting with the Galaxy Z Flip4. Thanks to Flex Cam technology, the ZFlip 4's camera can be used from various smartphone usage modes. This makes it possible, for example, to use the mobile phone with an aperture of 90°, functioning as a tripod and camera at the same time. In addition, the cameras of this foldable feature Nightopgraphy technology, introduced in the Galaxy S22. The external screen allows quick access to specific features without opening the phone, such as messaging or making payments. Battery is another keyword: the new Z Flip has bigger batteries. In terms of personalization, Samsung created Bespoke Editions, a system for customizing the chassis and covers of the smartphone in different colors.

Galaxy Z Fold4

Another great protagonist was the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. The hinge technology is the great novelty, in a lighter, improved mechanism, maintaining its durability. The screens now feature plastic fiber, a technology used in the automotive or aviation industry, for a lighter feel without compromising on quality. The bezels have been reduced, and the under-display technology of the inner chamber has been improved. Productivity remains a priority on the Fold, through a highly customizable multi-tasking bottom bar, and better integration with Microsoft Office software. In terms of cameras, the Z Fold4 also features Nightography technology.

Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro


The Galaxy Watch5 features a rotating bezel that allows you to interact with the smartwatch, and is equipped with Saphire glass. Through the new sensors, this watch allows to detect biometric data with greater precision, especially the temperature sensor. The Galaxy Watch5 Pro was also presented, with the promise of greater strength and durability, thinking of the most active sports practitioners, with a titanium chassis.

Galaxy Buds2

The Galaxy Buds2 Pro were another novelty. These earphones promise 24-bit sound transmission, above the regular 16-bit of conventional Bluetooth connectivity. This allows the user to receive more audio information as well as 360° audio feel. In addition, they have 40% better active noise cancellation and allow pairing with other Samsung devices such as televisions.

Sustainability was also a topic addressed at Samsung Unpacked 2022. The company now uses packaging made 100% from recycled cardboard, just as the plastics for the Galaxy increasingly come from plastic found in the environment, namely discarded fishing nets.
