Samsung shows the quality of the new sensor with a giant cat

The new photo sensor developed by Samsung promises unprecedented photographic quality. To challenge its sensor engineers, Samsung has prepared a different challenge.

Samsung's new 200MP sensor is paving its way towards the consumer market. To pique the curiosity of enthusiasts around the world, the technology company has prepared an interesting marketing campaign.

In order to demonstrate the capabilities of the new photo sensor, it was used to photograph a cat. The photograph was printed and displayed on a 616 square meter poster.

The big challenge, points out Minhyuk Lee, sensor engineer at Samsung, was to use a sensor that is still under development. Still, the Samsung team raised the bar by experimenting and photographing a living being rather than an inanimate object.

The first smartphone receiving a 200MP sensor will effectively be a Motorola, confirmed the manufacturer for the Chinese market, according to GSMarena. The device will be launched in July, and it is expected to be the expected Motorola Frontier.

Among the specifications of this smartphone is the presence of a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, a 60MP internal camera, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 8/12 GB of RAM, 128/256GB of memory. internal storage, a 4500mAh battery, 125W fast charging and wireless charging capability between 30W and 50W.
