Xiaomi launches the new Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro

The brand's new high-end smartphones confirm design rumors and promise high performance.

The Xioami 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro were released last week. Between cameras with high image resolutions, hardware and battery resistance, the brand is once again positioning itself as a value player in the smartphone market.

In terms of design, the Xiaomi 13 comes in four colors (Black, White, Light Green and Light Blue) and confirms the recently published design rumors. However, the 13 model will also be available in more vibrant colors such as Red, Yellow, Dark Blue and Green. Both models offer an IP68 resistance certificate.

The Xiaomi 13 has a 6.36-inch screen, with the same technical specifications as its predecessor, such as a 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 6.73-inch screen, also with the same top specs as last year's model. Both show improvements in terms of maximum brightness.

The cameras are a strong point: the Xiaomi 13 Pro has a module made up of a triple 50MP module at the rear with a Leica signature; the 13 model has a 50MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide lens.

Both models feature improvements in terms of battery life, with a 4820mAh and a 4500mAh battery on the Xiaomi 13 Pro and 13 respectively. While the Pro model supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, the “vanilla” model supports 67W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless.

At the moment the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro are only available in the Chinese market, and should enter the international market soon.
