The main objective with this transfer of operations is to bring Southeast Asia closer, in specific countries such as Malaysia and Thailand; in a region that has suffered from rising prices for transporting goods.

Xiaomi's facilities are located in northern Vietnam, representing an investment of 80 million dollars and covering an area of ​​200,000 square meters.

Xiaomi's move to Vietnam is also part of the cooperation strategy between the two countries, which has been getting closer in recent years.
