What causes cell phone buttons to malfunction?

Count on iServices to solve this and other problems with your smartphone.

The buttons on cell phones and smartphones, although less and less, remain central to the operation of their devices. Elementary tasks such as locking the screen, adjusting the volume or simply turning it on/off are dependent on these mechanisms.

Be it physical buttons or haptic buttons, all of them, like any other component, are vulnerable to malfunctions.

Drops and other impacts can result in your phone's buttons not working, either due to a break in the mechanism or a simple internal deviation of the button.

Another common malfunction could be the total loss of response to the click, often caused by excessive use, or even by applying a greater force than necessary on the buttons, causing mechanical wear.

In the case of haptic buttons, dropping, pressing or simply software problems can lead to malfunctions.
