The next MacBook Pro M1X will have an even higher resolution screen!

In the Beta codes of the new macOS Monterey these two models are identified as '3456 x 2234 Retina' and '3024 x 1964 Retina', however, as pointed out by Steve Moser from MacRumors, the new operating system does not identify or support any models currently released by Apple. For this reason it is possible to predict, with some certainty, that these settings are from the screens that will be equipped in future models of MacBook Pro M1X.

The new MacBook Pro, in addition to being more powerful, should bring news, both in terms of design and screens. And regarding the latter, there is reason to believe that Apple will be able to increase the resolution for the new generation of computers. The next Pro M1X is expected to be released in two versions: one 14-inch, with 3024x1964 resolution, and another with 16 inches and + total resolution of 3456x2234.

If this release is indeed confirmed, the new resolutions represent a considerable improvement over the current M1 MacBook Pro models, which have a resolution of 2560 x 1600, and the 16-inch MacBook Pro, which is 3072 x 1920. represent an increase in the pixel density of the display to about 250 pixels per inch, causing the models to come with a 2x Retina set by default, further increasing the sharpness of the image.
