New Instagram Layout Displeases Users

The famous photo sharing app is changing. The new Instagram interface could give priority to video content, in a format and user experience that has been the subject of complaints by several disgruntled users.

The new Instagram layout isng to roll out to the smartphones of several users around the world. Among other novelties, the main feed will put the content to occupy almost the entirety of the screen, similar to TikTok.

For some users, this update has worsened the user experience, making browsing the app slower. Some go even further and claim that the novelty of the interface made them use the social network less.

Recently, Instgram brought back the chronological feed, going back to the principles of the application. Another novelty introduced in recent weeks has been the possibility of pinning posts to user profiles, a bit like the functionality of pinning tweets to Twitter profiles.
