Instagram continues to test new possibilities for its platform, in a new attempt to approach Tik Tok. In the near future, Instagram may turn all your videos into Reels.
The news was announced by social media consultant and analyst Matt Navarra via Twitter, and confirmed in an email from Meta to TechCrunch.
In the screenshot you can read that the videos are now being shared exclusively as Reels. This time, it is not specified whether the videos that already exist on the platform will be transferred to Reels, or whether it will be possible to continue to publish videos for up to 10 minutes.
This is yet another of many new features on Instagram, the latest being the new age verification methods.
