The new functionality will be restricted to a limited number of users
Several users have asked for it, and the feature is close to being implemented. Twitter's Edit button is under testing and is expected to be implemented very soon.
However, the functionality will be restricted to Twitter Blue, a subscription plan for the platform that currently only works in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It is a monthly subscription that offers some extras such as the customization of the UI, or a function to cancel the publication of tweets via a timer that the user has access to after clicking on publish the tweet.
The public test was done on the Blue Twitter account. In the tweet you can see the annotation of the last edit of the text. By clicking on the annotation, it is possible to access previous versions of the publication.

This is just one of the many news from Twitter. Another is vertical video experiences; not in the sense of following the trend brought by TikTok and later adopted by Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts, but rather the implementation of immersive video players, which occupy the entire screen during their playback.
Still in the area of video, the platform is trying to incorporate a section in the Explore section called “More videos for you”, which offers a greater offer of content in that support.
