iServices participates in JE Talks!

Bruno Borges, CEO of iServices, spoke with Daniela Mateus Ferreira, from Jornal Económico, in a conversation where the company's history was shared, as well as some of the plans for the future.

iServices was the most recent guest at the JE Talks, an initiative of Jornal Económico, which made its readers know us a little better.

One of the axes of the interview was the expansion of iServices as an accessories brand. With more than 1100 references, the purpose of iServices gadgets and accessories is to bring the Portuguese consumer a set of products that they would not otherwise find so easily in the national market. We refer in particular to our earphones, powerbanks, smartwatches, or even our hygiene and cleaning products, which emerged with the needs inherent to the pandemic.

Bruno Borges highlighted the points that differentiate us, namely our multi-brand repair specialists, who have many years of experience and collaboration in the iServices team. Free diagnostics, 3-year guarantees, transparency in service or the speed of our repairs were other unique aspects mentioned in the interview.

The internationalization process was also one of the major themes of this JE Talks. Bruno Borges mentioned the recent opening of the first iServices store in the Canary Islands. “It is certain that in the coming months we will see iServices opening across Europe. (...) The plan covers several countries” – said the CEO of iServices.

Looking to the future, several challenges were pointed out for our company, for example the growing presence and proximity to national customers in all districts of the country, the transformation of the brand into a reference at European level as it is at national level, and the macroeconomic conditions that can compromise the evolution of the transport chain.

Another aspect highlighted in the interview was the environmental aspect. “Inherently, our activity is sustainable” – says Bruno Borges – “Whether it is when we repair the equipment or when we sell a Refurbished one, and in this way we avoid the customer having to purchase a new one”. In addition, the iServices repair service can provide up to two more years of equipment life.
