Samsung's new Foldables lineup may have 4 devices

Samsung has not yet confirmed the information, which could further catapult the brand into the folding smartphone market sector.


Techgoing advances news that could be to the liking of fans of foldable smartphones. According to close sources, Samsung may launch this year four new foldables. The information was published on the social network Twitter by the user RGcloudS.


According to the same source, Samsung's strategy could involve extending this technology to medium and low-end devices, for series like the Galaxy A. Four possible devices were advanced:

• Samsung Galaxy Z Flex: it could be a 360° folding smartphone, but the type of hinge mechanism is still unclear. However, it will be a smartphone with 3 screens.

• Samsung Galaxy Fold Ultra: An upgrade on well-known models, with a 4K-resolution screen, provided by Samsung's display unit. The current Fold uses BOE screens, with QHD resolution.

• Samsung Galazy Z Flip Ultra: in the same line as the previous equipment, but with a 2K resolution screen, also provided by Samsung itself.

• Samsung Galaxy Z Tab: A tablet with a folding screen, whose measurements are not yet known.
