It is expected to be the update with the most news since the launch of iOS 16 in September.
Apple has already released iOS 16.4 in its beta version for developers. We present you some of the news:
• 31 new emojis, approved last year, which should now move to iPhones. Among which stand out the trembling face, the hands in “high five”, the ginger root, among many others.
• Web Apps from other browsers and Notifications from Web Apps. Until now it was only possible to create Web Apps from pages in Safari. With iOS 16.4 it will be possible to do the same with pages in other browsers. Also, it will be possible to receive notifications from these pages.
• “Channels” section in the Podcasts app, with all subscriptions. The same application will have a section dedicated to unfinished episodes and even better interaction with CarPlay, which allows resuming episodes while driving.
• Possibility to receive beta versions of the operating system directly from the software update menu without installing a developer profile.
