The service served as a news platform, adjusted to the user's habits.

Google Now, a launcher present in several Android devices, will be deactivated next May. It is a platform where Google issued news cards and useful information such as the weather, just a swipe to the right from the main screen.

This service emerged 10 years ago, namely with the launch of the Nexus 5 smartphone. Google Now became available for most smartphones with the Android operating system in 2014 by downloading a dedicated app from the Play Store. From 2017, the launcher ceased to be a priority for Google, so it was integrated into the Pixel Launcher (for smartphones using the technology), and later into the Google Assistant.

Users will receive a warning from the Google app that Google Now will stop working. Fortunately, currently, there are few devices that use this platform.
