It will be the brand's first foldable smartphone, with a launch date already set.

The first rumors of a Google foldable smartphone date back to last year, but it looks like the equipment will be released very soon. The Pixel Fold will be officially announced at the next Google I/O on May 10th, along with the mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 7a. The folding model is expected to be immediately available for pre-order at $1799, and to be officially available at the end of June.

The latest rumors indicate that, despite the price, there will be a recall program and a possible offer of a Pixel Watch.

Among the specifications, a 5.8-inch external screen that opens to a 7.6-inch display is speculated. A Tensor G2 chip is also expected, and a hinge that is said to be “the most resistant in a foldable”.
