Google's simplified operating system brings new features.

Google last week revealed the new version of its software for budget smartphones: Android 13 (Go Edition). It is an operating system designed for smartphones with reduced capacity and RAM. According to the technology, there are already more than 250 million active smartphones with this type of operating system, which has been in existence for five years.

The three pillars of this update are usability, trust and customization.

One of the novelties is based on Google system updates, a way to bring critical updates to equipment without compromising its internal memory. These updates include security measures, bug fixes and other features.

Android 13 (Go Edition) finally brings Discover, the quick access page to personalized news.

Speaking of customization, this new OS has as great novelty the Material You, already available in the generic version of Android. This is a feature that allows a total customization of the operating system's color scheme through the wallpaper chosen by the user.

Android 13 (Go Edition) will be available in 2023.
