With new sensors, camera improvements, new features and much more, Google presents the new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. These are ready to receive updates for 7 years, including Android operating system updates, security updates and new features.

Artificial Intelligence arrives with Google Pixel 8

With the new Google Tensor G3 chip, the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro feature countless capabilities powered by Artificial Intelligence. This architecture is the result of a partnership with Google DeepMind, a research collective in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Thanks to it, new equipment has unique and innovative features.

Innovation in design

The new Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro have a sophisticated design, with metallic finishes and are made with recycled materials. These smartphones feature a 6.2 and 6.7 inch screen, respectively, with a 42% increase in maximum brightness than their predecessor models. The Google Pixel 8 Pro also brings a surprising new feature, as the back of this smartphone has a thermal sensor that allows you to measure the temperature of objects.

The Camera’s new features

The cameras of the new Pixel 8 and 8 Pro have also been improved and present better quality in environments with less light and an even better macro focus than the previous ones. Now, the front camera also features autofocus for taking your selfies!

Following these new features, it is also possible to change the faces of people in your photo, to create the perfect photo, using faces from other images and replacing them in a single photo. You can also reposition and resize objects in the photo itself. The Magic Audio Eraser will help reduce audio noise in your videos.

The special features of the Google Pixel 8

Using Summarize, Pixel presents a way to summarize the content of a web page, into the most important and essential points. The Pixel also introduced an update that will improve the understanding of human speech, understanding everyday expressions. Furthermore, AI has improved the Call Screen, reducing the percentage of SPAM calls received, selecting those that the user wants or not, and in a next update it will also be able to prepare personalized messages for each person who makes the call, depending on the appointments scheduled with this person.

The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro have been available since October 12th.
